As a school Star International School Mirdif prides itself on preparing children for the world of tomorrow. As such they embrace the responsible use of technology within the classroom. They have a highly successful BYOD policy which supports their status as a Google for Education school. However, as a school they also believe strongly that technology should only be used where it enhances the learning within the classroom. With this the school has also embedded the UN Sustainable Development goals into their curriculum so that they have an emphasis on how students can develop their understanding of sustainability and impact the world beyond their classrooms. This means considering the impact technology has on the environment and being mindful of the way they support the world we live within.
